How It All Came To Be

Thyme & Elegance Catering was born  over 10 years ago when a dear friend of mine asked me to cater her daughter's wedding. It was so fun and such a natural fit, my business began growing by word of mouth. Soon I was cooking for a variety of gatherings and small events.

I love to learn and master new ideas and techniques with my recipes, such as gluten free, low carb, vegetarian and vegan. Over the years I have catered for private parties on different lakes around Texas, countless weddings, Governor Abbott and the Netflix Crew during their two seasons of filming "CHEER" in Corsicana. There is no event too big or too small - I enjoy the challenge of cooking for all! Cocktail parties are my favorite.

My husband, Mark, and I have been married for over 30 years. He loves to help me with Thyme & Elegance, especially if there is a grill involved. We make a great team. We have three wonderful children and have recently welcomed the newest arrival of our first grandbaby, Grayson. He has most definitely stolen our hearts.

I enjoy visiting with my clients and getting to know them before big events in their lives. This allows me to craft the perfect menu for their occasion and ensure my team meets every need to make the most memorable day ever. I look forward to cooking for you.
